Australian Consumer Law
Our refund policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Subscriptions to PBSTrack are billed through Google Play. Refunds for app subscriptions are subject to Google Play’s refund policy, which PracticeWise cannot override. See Google Play’s refund policy for details.

Section 6
Clinical Use & Limitations
PracticeWise products are designed to support the work of qualified behaviour support practitioners. They are not diagnostic tools, and they do not replace clinical reasoning, professional training, or supervision.
- Scoring outputs from tools such as the QABF Scorer or MAS Scorer are computational aids. Clinical interpretation and decisions about intervention must be made by a qualified practitioner.
- Generated report text in PBSTrack is a drafting aid. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and taking clinical responsibility for any documentation submitted to the NDIA, support coordinators, or other parties.
- PracticeWise does not warrant that any product output is free from error or suitable for any particular clinical purpose.
By using PracticeWise products, you acknowledge that you hold the appropriate qualifications and registration required to practise behaviour support in your jurisdiction, and that you will apply appropriate professional judgment to all outputs.
Section 7
Intellectual Property
All content on practicewise.com.au and within PracticeWise products — including but not limited to text, layouts, framework designs, scoring logic, report templates, software code, and branding — is the intellectual property of PracticeWise and is protected by Australian copyright law.
Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you. The licence granted in Section 2 is a limited use licence only.
The PracticeWise name and logo are proprietary. Use of these marks in any context not authorised by PracticeWise is prohibited.
Third-party assessments referenced in PracticeWise tools (including the Questions About Behavioral Function (QABF) and Motivation Assessment Scale (MAS)) remain the intellectual property of their respective copyright holders. PracticeWise products facilitate data entry and scoring using these frameworks but do not claim ownership of the underlying instruments.
Section 8
Privacy
Your use of PracticeWise products is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
We collect and process personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. PracticeWise does not sell personal data to third parties.
For PBSTrack users: client data you enter into the app (including behaviour data, session notes, and report content) is your data. PracticeWise processes this data only to deliver the service and does not access or review client records without your consent.
Section 9
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PracticeWise is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from your use of — or inability to use — any PracticeWise product or service, including but not limited to:
- Loss of clinical data
- Errors or omissions in generated report content
- Loss resulting from reliance on tool outputs without appropriate clinical oversight
- Interruption of access to software due to technical issues or updates
Where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to resupply of the product or a refund of the purchase price, at our election.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Section 10
Changes to These Terms
PracticeWise may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our products, legal obligations, or business operations. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
Continued use of any PracticeWise product after updated Terms are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the relevant product.
We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically. For significant changes, we will endeavour to notify active users via email where we hold contact details.
